Join us for a fun, colorful class where you’ll sew The Margaret Tote — a roomy everyday bag made from dish drying mats, a fat quarter, and webbing. The mats give it great structure (and a finished look without a lot of extra fuss), the fat quarter becomes a cheerful front pocket, and the webbing makes strong, comfy straps.
The best part? You’ll get to pick from a lineup of fun and colorful dish mats, so your tote can be classic, wild, or somewhere delightfully in between. We won’t judge.
We’ll guide you through every step — assembling the body, adding the pocket, attaching the straps, and finishing the top — so you leave with a bag you can actually use. Groceries, library books, sewing supplies… she’s ready for all of it.
All materials needed to make this tote are included in the class fee. Just show up ready to sew and have fun.
